Well, I said that this game was going to be a huge test for how they can deal with defeat after the Brentford loss.
And even though the victory came in a, how can I put this, slightly tainted fashion given in which we scored the winner, I must say that it was certainly thrilling to see them come through that game having been under the cosh for the majority of it, only enjoying 35% possession and being dominated in all other areas.
And whilst it was obviously a team performance in being able to keep them at bay, there is one man that needs to take the plaudits above everyone else, and that’s goalkeeper Liam Kelly.
Stepping between the sticks after Joe Lumley suffered an injury in training, he made a fairly crucial contribution to proceedings, first giving away and then saving a penalty from Patrick Bamford to keep the score at 1-0 in what could have been a real turning point if it had gone in.
Contributions that were greatly appreciated by not just the fans, but also the broadcasters as he received Man of the Match.
For me that was the best performance of the season attacked well defended for our lives and played good football. Everyone worked there socks off. And a well deserved man of the match to @liamm_kelly great performance distribution brilliant safe hands and a pen save you r’sssss

Who should be QPR's number 1?
Liam Kelly
Joe Lumley
I imagine the race to be QPR’s number one just got a little fierier.
