QPR look set to miss out on the signing of Wigan Athletic striker Kieffer Moore, with the Welshman set to undergo a medical at Championship rivals Cardiff City, a report from The Daily Mail has claimed.
Moore enjoyed an impressive debut season at Wigan – having only joined them from Barnsley last summer – scoring ten goals and providing four assists, but the club’s problematic financial situation means they now look set to sell the striker in order to raise some much-needed funds.
It had previously been reported that QPR had had a £2.1million bid for the forward accepted, although it now appears that that will not be enough to bring Moore to London.
According to the latest reports, Moore is set for a medical ahead of a move to Cardiff, after the Bluebirds saw a £2.1million bid of their own accepted, with the striker apparently keen to play for the club, and manager Neil Harris in particular.
Taking to Twitter to react to those claims that they are about to miss out on one of their transfer targets, plenty of QPR fans were keen to give their opinion on the situation.
Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.
He’s Welsh isn’t he, so Cardiff kind of makes sense.
