Queens Park Rangers were in Championship action at Loftus Road on Tuesday evening as we welcomed high flying West Bromwich Albion to our home ground.
With incredibly poor form for manager Steve McClaren’s side in recent times – five defeats on the spin – on our opposition on the night are sat pretty in fourth place in the second tier table, so it was always going to be a tough match.
And it was as the visitors took the lead twice, forcing us to come back on each occasion but as the game came to a close, we were arguably slightly more on top at that point but having made all three substitutions already, Luke Freeman went off with injury in the 84th minute and down to ten men they got a late stoppage-time winner to further increase frustrations.
Reactions to the game were mixed, but for these fans at least, we were on target for a point until Freeman’s departure.
We were doing alright and looking like winning that possibly until Freeman got injured ‘82. Didn’t get out of our half with ten like we were awaiting the inevitable. Rotten. #QPR

Tough to go down to 10 men but kept letting them get so many crosses in. Freeman if out for a while big problem. #QPR

You can almost guarantee freeman is going to be out for months #QPR

If Freeman can walk off the pitch, for me with 5mins to go can he not stand on the halfway line & walk about to occupy a defender? Bidwell needs to go & close that ball down instead of backing off allowing them to smash the ball across the box in the 94th min. Our luck ????????♂️???? #Qpr

If freeman didn’t get injured we wouldn’t of lost

Just got home, M4 elevated section closed for roadworks about summed up the night. Absolutely gutted after that, was very slow out the blocks but thought we grew into the game, Lynch needs a shout by his CB partner, LB or GK take your pick. Freeman going off killed us. #QPR
