As expected and speculated, former Swansea City Stalwart Angel Rangel has signed on the dotted line at Queens Park Rangers.
Extremely delighted and grateful to be given the opportunity to play for such a great club like @QPR . I am very excited with this new challenge in my career and I can’t wait to play at Loftus Road and meet all the supporters! ????⚪️ #qpr pic.twitter.com/pDYRiIBqSo

The experienced 35-year-old joins on a short-term contract and it is only a five-month contract following his release by the Liberty Stadium outfit.
Hopefully, we will quickly see his qualities on the pitch and he’ll find his Swansea form that impressed many. Until then he’ll still prove to be asset as an experienced leader amongst our younger squad, helping them and advising them both on and off the pitch as he provides cover for Darnell Furlong given his expected three month lay off with a knee injury.
His full interview can be read by Clicking Here but the word ‘experience’ features highly in his conversations with manager Steve McClaren and he openly admits that’s a key part to the role he’s accepted with us.
The deal ends on January 13, 2019, but I’d be surprised if it wasn’t extended for at least the year given the impact many expect him to have with us.
Still can’t understand why @SwansOfficial let you go mate! Hope to see you back in Swansea in the future All the best at QPR ???????? #YJB

This is what happens when the club's board has a combined IQ of less than that of a table.
Best of luck Àngel #YJB

Good to see so many positive words from Swansea fans given his lack of game time last season, suggests we have got a solid signing on our hands here.
