Talk about getting a mixed reaction.
He’s not even kicked a ball for the team and he appears to have split the fanbase already. The club announced today that Jack Clarke has signed with the club until the end of the season. The 19-year-old winger will be hoping to get more minutes under his belt than he did in the early part of the season when he ‘played’ at Elland Road.
I’ve spoken many times about how difficult it is going to be QPR to find the right balance now that he is in the squad, so it will be interesting to see how he fits in with the rest of the team and what changes are going to have to be made.
Though it would appear as if the QPR fanbase still can’t quite make up their mind on whether or not this is a good deal, with some fans believing that they’d rather have someone else through the door first rather than the young winger.
Excellent deal if he’s a decent center half or good between the sticks. If not, it’s shambolic and shows how deluded the DOF is. Cos we really have problems going forward, given we’re the 2nd highest scorers in the division. Obviously they’re happy conceding 1.9 goals per game!

Good signing, gives another option out wide. Can we please target a defender if we want to make the play offs

Whilst I’m glad for him and hope does well, that ain’t a centre-back, chief.

We don’t necessarily need another winger, and defence is more the issue, but looking forward to seeing what Jack Clarke can do.
Means #QPR are now an even bigger attacking threat

I love to see those long ball passes and dribbles you made at Leeds FC, lots of confidence on the ball. Welcome to QPR 💪🏻!

Will bringing in Clarke force us to change things drastically?
Yes
No
Although in fairness, that’s still a lot better than a few days ago when it seemed like the majority of the fanbase weren’t too keen on him. So at least he’s moving in the right direction.
