If you support a team wallowing around the Football League in midtable insignificance, the chances are that you may have not had much choice supporting your club.
For fans who don’t support one of the big sides, you learn to know that it’s the hope that kills you. But you still turn up week in, week out, and support the team that you both loathe and love. They’re almost guaranteed to bring you more stress than relief, but boy does it all seem worth it for when that last-minute winner flies in the back of the net.
The QPR account took it into their own hands to ask supporters why they support the club. Unsurprisingly, there were plenty of replies from fans who probably ask themselves the same question every Saturday.
Look, we all know unless you support one of the top clubs that following your team can be a cruel, cruel mistress, but some of these replies are particularly morbid, if not a bit funny.
Is there any chance of keeping Eze in the summer?
He's as good as gone
We can keep him
If we offer him big terms
Not sure
One fan suggested he supports them as he enjoys having heart attacks, while others said it was because of self-loathing, or even their dad.

Supporting QPR can certainly be a rollercoaster, but they seem to be on their way up at the moment rather than down with their recent performances.
With 11 matches to go they sit 13th in the league, 10 points off the playoffs and 9 points off the relegation zone. Right now it seems as if Championship football is a bit of a given for next season, but the Championship is a crazy league, so who knows what can happen.
