QPR ensured they avoided a third defeat in a row on Tuesday night, as they drew 1-1 with struggling Luton at Kenilworth Road.
Things had started badly for Rangers, with James Collins putting Luton ahead from the penalty spot 20 minutes into the game, after Ryan Manning has fouled James Bree inside the area.
Mark Warburton’s side would draw level just past the hour mark however, as Dominic Ball netted his first goal for the club to equalise.
That is how the game would finish, with QPR now having won just once in seven games since the season got back underway last month.
Was a draw a fair result against Luton?YesNo |
Not surprisingly therefore, there appeared to be some mixed emotions amongst the QPR fanbase as they took to Twitter to react to that result, with many concerned that a draw with a relegation-threatened side such as Luton was now serving as a source of satisfaction for them.
Here, we take a look at what some members of the fanbase had to say about that result and performance against the Hatters.
Sad that I’m actually happy with a draw at Luton this season. 2 more to go then hopefully Amit Les Warbs Tony Ruben et al have a plan for next season 🔵⚪️

Way to finish! Could’ve been 3 points but a draw is a draw. Points are points way to battle back. #QPR Positive things only!

Sad that I’m happy to take that result, but I am. Glad for Dom, finally saw a tiny bit of what we know Eze and Bright can do, but still not enough. Bit more intensity but still crying out for the loss of Hugill and (still) Wells.

Better effort. Probably a fair result although penalty a bit week. Joe saved a point. Will take it.

Considering our current form and lack of a centre forward, have to take that as a decent result. Well done #QPR
