There are plenty of things in life that leave you baffled.
But I’m not sure that I’ve seen anything quite as baffling as this, especially when it’s their own system that they’re using.
So WhoScored.com released their Team of the Week, and to the surprise of nobody, Nahki Wells made it in after his hat-trick in the game against Cardiff.
However, if you take a look at the player ratings from that match, you’ll spot that something doesn’t quite add up. Mainly that two QPR midfielders were left out of the team, despite getting better ratings than the players that were included. Eberechi Eze was left out with a score of 8.6 despite Nick Powell only scoring an 8.3, but perhaps more bizarrely Bright Osayi-Samuel didn’t make the cut despite scoring a perfect 10.0.
And that snub didn’t escape the eyes of Queens Park Rangers fans on Twitter, as they slammed the site for the error.
How is bright not in there, pretty much the perfect game. Incredible.

But Samuel being the best player on the pitch doesn’t count? 🤷🏼♂️

Gave Bright Osayi-Samuel a 10 and Eze an 8.6 but no where to be seen 🤷🏻♂️

BOS for @qpr ? Was easily the player of the day.

How many points will QPR get out of their next six games?
0-6
7-12
13-18
Hopefully they don’t make the same mistake again. That is of course assuming a QPR player gives a 10.0 in the future, so we may not have to deal with that for some time.
