QPR Reportedly Chasing Chelsea Youngster

|

It’s been claimed this week that Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton is tracking highly rated Chelsea youngster Jay Dasilva, but it’s expected we will face competition from at least Bristol City, if not a few more Championship sides.

The 21-year-old versatile left wingback/midfielder is yet to make his senior bow at Stamford Bridge but he has picked up good experience for his age in the second tier with successful loan spells at both Charlton Athletic, and last season at Ashton Gate.

In the 2018/19 campaign, he made 25 starting appearances with a further seven showings from the bench and chipped in with three assists, with most of his appearances coming at left back.

A claim from Football Insider says we are now tracking him and reasonably hopeful that we can get a deal done.

Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has already confirmed they are trying to work on a deal to bring him back, we’ll have to see how far our interest goes, but you would expect this one to be a loan really.
