Queens Park Rangers today confirmed that Jack Robinson has now left Loftus Road after rejecting our offer of a new contract.
Having arrived at the club back in the 2014 summer transfer window, Robinson brings his QPR curtain down having made only 40 starting appearances for us, with an additional two showings from the bench following the way he was blighted by injury.

In that time he returned two goals for us and took in a loan spell with Huddersfield Town.
Director of Football, Les Ferdinand, confirmed the news earlier today as he spoke to the Official Site. His statement confirmed that we had offered the 24-year-old a new ‘attractive’ offer to remain with us, but he turned that down to ‘take his chances in the market’.
Whilst Ferdinand was quick to thank the player for his efforts during his time with us and to wish him the best for the future, fans weren’t quite as forgiving given his time on the sidelines as they believed he owed us some loyalty and should’ve stuck around to help us on the pitch, or at the very least sign a new deal to ensure we made some money back on him.
Good player and I wish him all the best but he only gave us 1 good season in the 4 years he was with us and he is injury prone.

He hasn't thrown anything in our face,he played well last season and feels probably he can play at a higher level than where we are at the moment,he is out of contract free to work where he chooses.

lets hope no one offers him what we were then and he's out of pocket

A big hope! He cannot be relied upon. There is no way we can go in to the season thinking Hall will play 80% of games which would be the minimum needed. Lynch and Baptiste are injury prone too. Lynch rarely plays more than 6 games in a row. We need a solid, reliable centre back!

It seemed inevitable based on how last season ended. I am sad to see Robbo go. He’s a good defender and would brought much needed experience to the squad. Best of luck, Jack. #QPR #QPR1819

Big loss IMO. However good to see us standing strong on the position of the club as stability is needed with everything else that’s going on and not just offering stupid contracts

Good player and I wish him well but glad we wasn’t held to ransom on a new contract

Whatever happened to even the SLIGHTEST bit of loyalty?
Stood by him through his long injury and that's the thanks/loyalty he gives back. Selfish, self-serving ****er.
Let's hope he doesn't do himself a pre-season injury somewhere else and miss the 2018-19 season…

Think he’s let us down. We’ve been good to him and he has half a good season and leaves. We want players to want to wear the famous hoops with pride. Up the r’s!

people please stop saying "We stood by him when he was injured", he was our player so obviously we were going to help him recover!
