QPR Continue Planning For The Future As We Track Non-League Starlet

|

It’s been reported this week that Queens Park Rangers are one of a number of clubs paying close attention to Woking winger Reggie Young.

There’s not a lot of concrete details in the reports but suffice to say I’d be surprised if non-league talent such as Young weren’t on our radar given all the moves we’ve seen in our under age groups this season as we look to better of chances of finding first team stars and saleable assets in future years.

The 19-year-old is on Woking’s books but he’s been out on loan at Farnborough since October where he’s attracted attention from ourselves, as well as claims that Brentford and Gillingham are two more to have started keeping tabs on him.

The wide attacker has scored seven goals and contributed five assists so far and has more than played his part in their current ten game unbeaten run.

The suggestion is that QPR are now ready to make a move for the lad come the summer and he is naturally out of contract at the end of the season.

It might be worth remembering his name.
