No Shots, No Tackles Sees QPR Substitute Take MotM From Heavy Norwich Defeat

|

Saturday’s earlier Championship kickoff pitted managerless Queens Park Rangers against in form table topping Norwich City up at Carrow Road.

It’s probably fair to say the game went as many believed it would based on relative form, and the away day travellers weren’t in for much entertainment.

Having been roundly beaten 4-0 on the day, it’s no surprise to see statistics website Whoscored not overly favour us when it came to their player ratings from the day.

Centre-half Toni Leistner took Man of the Match as he rated 6.37 having come on the pitch as a first half substitute, and completing the top five on the day were Josh Scowen (6.36), Ebere Eze (6.35), Pawel Wszolek (6.14) and Nahki Wells (6.13).

The performance is probably epitomised by saying Osayi-Samuel, Furlong and goalkeeper Joe Lumley were the only other players to get a six-plus score from the day, as we had six players down with five scores.

Onto the next one and maybe something to cheer about.
