4 Shots, 3 Key Passes Takes Talented 21 y/o To QPR’s MotM

With recent back to back defeats for Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton, fans were left celebrating a return to winning ways in Saturday’s Championship clash with Wigan Athletic.

Welcoming Wigan to Loftus Road for the game, a commanding performance from QPR saw us take all three points following second half goals from Nahki Wells, Ebere Eze and Jordan Hugill – although we had to ride the blow of them scoring in the second minute in the first period.

Statistics website Whoscored were very positive in their player ratings following the game, but 21-year-old Eze took their star man award and Man of the Match as he found himself both on the scoresheet, but also on the assist list.

Having been awarded 8.82, it was going to be difficult for anyone else to get near him, so completing the top five best performers on the day were Wells (7.91), Ryan Manning (7.29), Ilias Chair (7.08) and Hugill (7.05).

An additional mention for Yoann Barbet who also received a plus seven score.

Onto the next one…
