Plenty of QPR fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports that they could be lining up yet a third loan signing of the season from Tottenham Hotspur.
Reports from the Evening Standard state that Rangers are joined by Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday for the young striker who only turns 18 in less than a week.
The report states that while the club is yet to sanction a move, Jose Mourinho’s stance of previously thinking he is too young for such a move has reportedly softened.
It also states that the young Irishman wants the move to happen as he wants to add to the two first-team appearances he has managed to get under his belt this season.
Would you like to see Troy Parrott sign?
Yes, get him in
No thanks
Football Insider have reported a similar story, and they suggest that QPR’s positive relationship with the club – already having Ben Amos and Jack Clarke on loan – could be the catalyst in getting the deal completed.
With Nahki Wells leaving the club, there now seems to be a bit of a rush to try and replace those goals, however, it seems as if QPR fans might now see Parrott as the answer.
Here are what some of their fans are saying below…
Why would we need him. Surly heโd rot on the bench/reserves with jan mlakar

The R’s are now running out of time to source a new forward and this is beginning to look like the most likely transfer.
A return deal for Wells now seems unlikely as Mark Warburton said the club needs to ‘move on’, while a move for Dundee United’s Lawrence Shankland looks to be dead in the water as the club look set to hold onto him until at least the summer.
