With some speculation this week suggesting that young Queens Park Rangers defender Niko Hamalainen would make the switch out to Scottish side Kilmarnock on a loan spell, the club confirmed that news earlier today.

Best of luck, Niko!

The 22-year-old heads out to the Scottish Premier League side in search of far more regular first team action and he’ll be looking to build on his experience so far, gained in League Two with Dagenham and Redbridge and more recently, in the MLS with Los Angeles FC.
Despite being American born, the fullback is already a full Finnish international (one senior cap) and he makes the switch out with plenty of time to prepare for what could potentially be his debut, this coming weekend when they face Aberdeen and Rugby Park.
Plenty of QPR fans were happy to wish him well for the spell as given his age now, he really does need to get far greater game time under his belt if he wants to kick on.
Good luck. ????????
