How much do you know about QPR striker, Reece Grego-Cox?
Shipped off on loan in an effort to develop and enhance the 20-year-old’s abilities last season Reece has subsequently returned to the Loftus Road fold and in doing so rewarded with a new contract.
Just in case you didn’t know…
Born in Hammersmith, London, Reece chose to represent the Republic of Ireland at international level. He has featured for them up to under-21 level 12 times.
Former Queens Park Rangers under-18 manager Steve Gallen compared Grego-Cox to first-team player Charlie Austin in August 2014, saying…
‘They are tenacious, they cause problems for defenders and they can score goals. They won’t give you a moments rest. Like Charlie has done at times for the first team, Reece creates a goal out of nothing.’

Season 2016/17
Reece played eight games for Newport County. Sadly he didn’t find the back of the net but he did receive two yellow cards.
The Rs final game of the Championship season against Norwich (I forget the score for obvious reasons) Reece managed to play the final nine minutes of the game.
2017/18: What can we expect?
More of this…
…and this…
Reece scores from the half-way line against Manchester City in a pre-season friendly.
Have a great and successful season Reece.
