“Basically Hazard” – QPR Man Makes Immediate Impact In Debut

|

Young Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ilias Chair made a loan switch out to League Two side Stevenage during the January transfer window and the 21-year-old has made a good start to life at the Lamex Stadium, making his debut for them in last Saturday’s clash with Yeovil Town.

Making the starting eleven for the tie, Chair got all 90 minutes under his belt as they took a 1-0 victory and for all intents and purposes, he was their star man on the day, dictating things from the middle of the park and plenty of their fans likened his efforts to Luke Freeman – a player both teams know well.

Stevenage including him in their Man of the Match poll on social media for the game and Chair took 66% of the votes.

Those fans who took the time to react to his performance in response to the poll vote were incredibly complimentary about his performance and attitude on the pitch in their shirt and that can only bode well for our future as he continues to learn his trade.
