3 Shots, 3 Key Passes – QPR MotM From Stoke Boredraw Is Obvious Isn’t It

|

With incredibly poor form in recent weeks Queens Park Rangers had some reason for cheer against Stoke City on Saturday as we took a point from our most recent Championship clash.

With spirits boosted after victory over Leeds United, it was pretty much back to normal when we faced Brentford and the major disappointment from last weekend was it should’ve been all three points.

QPR dominated the game with the visitors to Loftus Road down to ten men after only eight minutes had been played, but we couldn’t turn that control and numerous chances into valid efforts on target.

Statistics website Whoscored seemed to acknowledge that as they largely rated Stoke players higher for their defensive efforts given our lack of a clinical punch.

Luke Freeman took the Man of the Match with a score of 7.53, and he was followed by Toni Leistner (7.30), Mass Luongo (6.97), Jake Bidwell (6.91) and Tomer Hemed (6.79) to complete the top five on the day but it was still poor and lacked composure.
