2 Shots, 1 Key Pass & 53 Touches Sees QPR Man Take MotM

With woeful form and results for Queens Park Rangers in recent weeks and seven straight defeats for manager Steve McClaren’s side, last night’s Championship clash against Leeds United had plenty of fans worried about another poor result.

A tight game played itself out and we certainly had goalkeeper Joe Lumley to thank at points, but we did make the telling breakthrough in the 49th minute as Luke Freeman gave us the advantage and ultimately a narrow 1-0 victory.

Statistics website Whoscored had two players rating eight or above for their performances, but when it came to Man of the Match, midfielder Massimo Luongo took the star man award with 8.66 following his assist on the night.

Completing the top five best performers in their system were goalscorer Freeman (8.64), Pawel Wszolek (7.93), Lumley (7.55) and Toni Leistner (7.44).

Grant Hall, Darnell Furlong and Jake Bidwell also received seven-plus ratings for their performances in the game and the question now is can we go unbeaten for a bit to play catch up?
