Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ben Watson couldn’t pin-point what went wrong at Doncaster, but assures fans that normal service will be resumed against Coventry.

The Wigan Athletic loanee completed the full game as Rangers were defeated 2-0 at the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend.

Initially starting as part of a three man midfield, then once again as a two, Watson performed disappointingly alongside Alejandro Faurlín and debutante Steven Reid.

Bouncing back, he believes, is important as he speaks to QPR.co.uk

He said: ‘We’ll give them the respect they deserve, but it’s a game we need to win.

‘We’ve got back-to-back home fixtures now and I’m confident we can get six points on the board.’

Watson has made nine appearances for Rangers thus far, scoring two goals. He has also received two red cards during that spell.
