Striker Problems At QPR?

Late fitness checks are needed for three players before tonight’s game against Watford at Vicarage Road.

Lee Cook and Marc Nygaard are said to have a 50/50 chance of playing, but Marc Bircham is less likely to be available.

Nygaard and Bircham have both had hamstring injuries whilst Lee Cook missed the game against Derby at the weekend due to a groin strain.

Ian Holloway is desperate to include Cook because Furlong picked up a straight red in the match at Pride Park and will have to serve a FOUR match suspension. The ban is increased because last seasons top scorer had already seen red this season.

Richard Langley and Stefan Moore will be in contention if Cook is not passed fit. Kevin Gallen who scored on Saturday might also be considered to lead the front line.
