WIGAN Athletic have ruled out suggestions that Victor Moses will leave the club in the January Transfer Window

The clock is ticking down on Mark Hughes’ quest to make further additions to his squad, but there appears to be a deal that’s dead in the water.

Victor Moses has been linked with W12 in recent weeks, but Latics boss Roberto Martinez has poured scorn on suggestions that he is poised to depart.

He stated simply: ‘Moses is not for sale.’

Better news on the Hugo Rodallega front, with Martinez almost resigned to losing his prized asset.

The Colombian international could be poised to come to the capital with both QPR and Fulham interested in capturing his signature.

Martinez said: ‘Whatever could happen in next 48 hours is going to be for the good of Wigan.

‘When you get into a position where your contract is short-term with a club then it’s a completely different situation.’

Just over a day remaining in the window as Mark Hughes looks to tie up some last minute deals in a bid to get QPR to safety.
