QPR Striker Reportedly Set For Belgium Move This Month

|

It was being reported on Friday that Queens Park Rangers striker Idrissa Sylla was set for a medical that day with Belgian top flight side Zulte Waregem after an agreement had been struck between both clubs.

The 28-year-old will move on a permanent basis for a, so far, undisclosed fee if he passes the medical and personal terms are agreed, and it’s not unfair to say that he won’t really be missed as new manager Steve McClaren simply doesn’t seem to fancy him at the club.

He will depart having made three appearances in the Championship in the season of 2018/19, and his overall record for QPR reads as 28 starts with a return of 17 goals.

He knows Waregem well, having spent two years with the club earlier in his career.

Given the report from Sky Sports, you would think that we might hear something concrete over the weekend or at least by Monday really.
