I can’t say I’m surprised at this, as soon as vague stories linking former fan favourite Adel Taarabt with a return to Queens Park Rangers surfaced, I was sceptical, to say the least.
It appears I was right for being so and I was slightly surprised for the clamour for him to return given it seems he’s done little since leaving us.
Would You Welcome This Man Back – These QPR Fans Would For Some Reason
The stories have rumbled on though on social media in particular to the point where Queens Park Rangers vice chairman Tony Fernandes has now come out publicly to dismiss them.
Taking to social media on Thursday, he posted.
What are the chances of adel coming back to @qpr . Zero. We know what we are building and we saw that at Aston Villla. Amazing hard work and team spirit.

These fans, at least, liked the confirmation he gave and the fact the club have a clear plan for the future.
Ahh….see you wot you did there ????????????

Thanks for clearing that up ????

Warnock tolerated and made allowances for his behaviour and histrionics. That won’t work this time around. Shame, but he would be a disruptive influence.

Shame, purely for nostalgia reasons. But we have done this before and been burned so I get it. Not an easy player to manage.

Adel coming in could upset the dressing room and he'd be on highwages love him for the promotion season but after that he didn't want to know and looks like he hasn't bothered after that with other teams good news we're not getting him
