Premier League Clubs Scout This QPR Man – Why Wouldn’t They Be, It’s Not A Surprise

|

It’s been claimed that scouts from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City were in attendance at Loftus Road to watch Queens Park Rangers’ young talent Ebere Eze.

The Evening Standard claimed that top-flight sides were now circling the youngster owing to his performances for us so far in the 2018/19 campaign, but given his talent they’ll have already been aware of him and will have already taken a watching view as he continues to develop at the club.

The 20-year-old has taken his career tally to ten goals in 49 appearances for QPR and a loan spell out at Wycombe Wanderers, with three goals in nine games already this season and having tied him down to a contract extension over the summer, the club are well placed to at least protect our asset.

Seeing other clubs linked with him is no surprise at all and it’s just the nature of football that means it’s more a case of when he departs as opposed to will he, from QPR’s perspective we just need to continue working with him to maximise his talent and then we maximise the fee and attempt to repeat the trick with another youngster.

It’s the modern day game.

As for the modern day game, his booking against Millwall was laughable and whilst everyone talks Video Assistant Referee – that’s a case point as his leg was clearly nicked, so even if you think not enough to go down, it was never a yellow in a month of Sunday’s.
