Leroy Fer and Rob Green have spoken following the last-gasp draw against Swansea City

The Dutch international had given Queens Park Rangers the advantage with a fine solo effort – beating Lukasz Fabianski from distance.

Rangers were however pegged back in the dying embers with Wilfried Bony coming from the bench to rescue a point for the Swans.

‘In the end it was disappointing because we were the better team,’ he told QPR.co.uk

‘It makes it frustrating to draw the game.

‘I’m happy to score the goal but we only have one point, and that’s disappointing.’

Meanwhile Rob Green was fortunate not to be given his marching orders early on for handling outside the area – something he admits he ‘got away with’.

Green did however share his disappointment that Rangers weren’t able to take three important points against Gary Monk’s side.

He said: ‘There`s a feeling of frustration for us.

‘We had a chance less than a minute before they scored to take the ball into the corner and try to kill the game, but we didn`t and 45 seconds later Bony has got about half a yard of space in the box, and that`s all he needs. It`s a fantastic finish from him.’

QPR now host Sheffield United in the FA Cup – a fixture moved to Sunday January 4, before a crucial trip to fellow strugglers Burnley.
