Queens Park Rangers are still just about in the mix for promotion this season as they trail the play-off places by six points.
If they do manage to go up, it would be some achievement for Mark Warburton and his side but it would be nothing new for many of the fans, who have seen the club win promotion from this level in the past. And, the one promotion that will be remembered by many came in 2011, with the R’s lifting the Championship title at Loftus Road on this day nine years ago.

So, to celebrate #TaarabtThursday on Twitter, the club looked back at that moment, which showed the Moroccan getting his hands on the trophy after a fine individual campaign. Taarabt had scored 19 goals and provided 21 assists for Neil Warnock’s men as they went up in style.
