Queens Park Rangers are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Yeni Ngbakoto in the five one victory over Rotherham United on Saturday at Loftus Road was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Ngbakoto was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘It was a good day at the office for QPR, and a good day for Ngbakoto, who scored one and made two in the 5-1 thrashing of Rotherham United. The Frenchman scored the third goal in the win, and assisted the fourth and fifth with two excellent deliveries.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Ngbakoto for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Ali Al-Habsi (Reading), Will De Havilland (Wycombe Wanderers), Scott Wharton (Cambridge United), Matt Tootle (Notts County), Bright Osayi-Samuel (Blackpool), Dave Edwards (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Lee Tomlin (Bristol City), Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (Rochdale), Yeni Ngbakoto (Queens Park Rangers), Lasse Vibe (Brentford), Charlie Wyke (Bradford City).

Manager – Darren Sarll (Stevenage).
