Queens Park Rangers have today announced the long-awaited departure of Tjaronn Chery.

QPR today confirmed the exit of the Dutchman after weeks of speculation over his future.

Chery today left for Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng for an undisclosed fee after making it apparent to manager Ian Holloway that he wanted to leave the club.

14 goals in 62 appearances – some spectacular – did give the midfielder a budding reputation at Loftus Road but with his performances flagging in recent months, this won’t be as bitter a pill to swallow for QPR supporters as it might first appear.

Holloway has now recouped some wages in the pot and a decent transfer fee to accompany if rumours are to be believed.

He could be followed out the door by recently signed Ariel Borysiuk with West London Sport reporting that he is deemed surplus to requirements in W12.

The 25-year-old summer signing may be heading back to Poland after only a few months – with Lechia Gdansk leaning towards a loan move according to Dave McIntyre.

Karl Henry meanwhile is looking for a new club – after what has now become a fairly public spat with Holloway. He replied to an article earlier today by explaining his falling-out with the QPR boss.

A piece of positive news however as Exeter City tweeted their congratulations to Manchester United midfielder Sean Goss for his move to Loftus Road – a fee reported to be around £500k.

Rangers have yet to confirm this deal, but it would appear that a deal could be close at hand.
