Juan Mata believes that QPR will be a tough proposition at Loftus Road as he side looks to bounce back from defeat

Manchester United will be looking to get back on the trail for a top four place as they travel to QPR this weekend.

The Red Devils were defeated at the hands of Southampton at Old Trafford with a Dusan Tadic second half winner.

Mata will remember only too well how Chelsea were defeated to a newly-promoted Rangers side in October 2011 and is keen to pick up three points this time around.

He told manutd.com: ‘We have to bounce back. We have to play in a difficult stadium, Loftus Road, but we will try to get the three points and we need them after losing.

‘It is a tough game – every game against QPR away is tough – but we will try to be at our best level and come back to Manchester with the three points.’

Meanwhile there are doubts over the fitness of Robin van Persie, which could see Radamel Falcao start for the visitors – with a challenge issued by manager Louis van Gaal today for the loan forward to convince enough to make his move to Old Trafford a permanent one.
