I… just… how can you put that into words?
I don’t think that you can, but I guess I’ll have to try and do my best.
I said before the game that I hoped Mark Warburton’s decisions over the hectic Christmas schedule would end up paying dividends when we got to the new year, but I didn’t expect it to quite pay off in this spectacular a fashion.
QPR started off the new year with a thumping 6-1 win over Cardiff City, but the star of the day was most certainly Nahki Wells who officially becomes QPR’s highest scorer of the decade (someone was going to make that joke, might as well get it out of the way now) as he managed to score three on the day.
So naturally, it was he that managed to get most of the attention from fans on social media after the game.
unbelievable Jeff.

@nahkiwells has scored more goals this decade than Messi, Ronaldo, Kane, Chelsea and Liverpool combined. #signhimup

Would you like us to sign Wells permanently?
Yes
No
Let’s hope that scoring goals on a regular basis is a New Year’s resolution that Wells manages to keep, and doesn’t just go away after a couple of weeks, like most resolutions do.
