Queens Park Rangers assistant manager John Gorman has been given odds of 14/1 to re-join former club Wycombe Wanderers.

The Chairboys parted company with former manager Peter Taylor by mutual consent on Friday, as the race to replace him hots up at Adams Park.

Bookmaker Victor Chandler has named cup hero Lawrie Sanchez as the best-priced 5/1 to once again take charge of Wanderers.

Jim Magilton’s assistant, John Gorman sits at 14/1 and has had previous stints with Swindon Town and Northampton Town as well as his time at Adams Park

Meanwhile former QPR player and manager Gary Waddock is at 16s owing to some sturdy work at Aldershot, along with former R’s midfielder John Gregory who had a two-year stint at Wycombe.

At 18/1 sits former Luton Town manager Mick Harford, a boss who has had caretaker experience with Rangers following the departure of the aforementioned Gregory.

The final QPR connection comes with former midfielder Glenn Roeder named at an unlikely 20/1 by the bookmaker.
