I wonder if Mark Warburton is stressing over this decision as much as these fans are.
If he is, then it just goes to show how hard a decision it really is.
With Yoann Barbet on his way back from injury, it’s thrown up a lot of possibilities about what his short-term future, so many so that I have written two articles on the matter. One suggesting a change of formation to fit him in, the other saying that he could get into a bit of a tussle with Conor Masterson to take over the other centre-back spot with captain Grant Hall.
We it’s not just me that seems to be having the debate about what to do.
So when @TheInside_R posed the question about whether or not his return would inspire a turning point in the team’s season, it inspired quite a fiery debate, with two fans in particular not holding back their views on the matter.
Rate him highly

do you think he would replace Masterson or Hall? I feel it will probably be Masterson because Hall is the captain, but Masterson deserves to still be starting in my opinion

Make a change from inspiring the opposition with a penalty.

Can’t see the captain being dropped

They can – I can’t see it though

Think it’s accepted he’s the captain. Regardless be surprised if he’s dropped

Who would you rather have in the team?
Barbet
Masterson
It certainly is going to be interesting to see what the solution to this conundrum is going to be, especially if he does decide to drop either Hall or Barbet to accommodate him.
