Many QPR fans have reacted on Twitter after a fan ranted about giving up his season ticket.
Rangers fan @Leedunkley10 tweeted about deciding to give up his season ticket after 20 years due to the club showing no ‘ambition’.
The user went onto say that the R’s could have made the play-offs this season with just a little bit more business.
There appears to be a bit of a growing concern amongst the fanbase at the moment that the club aren’t spending the money that they should be doing. This has been exacerbated by the nature of Nakhi Wells departing due to the club not being able to stump up the cash for the former Burnley striker.
Lots of fans responded to the fan’s rant, to which most thought that he was being particularly melodramatic.
One other fan dubbed him an ‘attention seeker’, while others suggested that they would follow their club no matter the situation.

Well done, not sure if you want sympathy but i assume you will write to the club and tell them why you are not renewing, i for one have bern through worst times at the club, 3rd tier football etc which strangely enough our gates increased cos we were winning…irony!

Can I have it?

Hi Lee, I can really understand fans frustration at the last 15 years shenanigans, but the club has showed real ambition this year to do things the right way. The Wells situation was completely out of the clubs hands. Keep the faith, it will bear fruit eventually

While you can understand some frustrations from fans regarding the club being left behind by others who seem to be making much more expensive transfers, the reasons have been clearly identified.
After the club had to pay a fine of £3m for wrongdoing Financial Fair Play in the past, CEO Lee Hoos said at the time (July, 2018) that the club ‘never want to be in this situation again’ – and that is exactly what he’s ensuring.
Do you think Hugill will be at the club next season?
Yes
No
More recently, Hoos stated that the club would target Wells once his loan deal was terminated, but they could come undone by not being able to afford due to FFP reasons, which is what happened.
QPR fans might be frustrated, but at least the situation is transparent.
