Key Player:
Andy Dawson: The combative defender has been a mainstay in the Hull City side for many years now and was regarded as an integral part of the side that rose through the divisions. Impressively, in the Premier league era, Dawson along with Sean Davis (Fulham) and David Wetherall (Bradford) are the only players to play for the same club in all four senior divisions. Before playing for Hull City, Dawson started his career as a trainee at Nottingham Forest making just the solitary senior appearance. He went on to sign for Scunthorpe United on loan in Decemeber1998 before making the move permanent in March. Dawson made 225 appearances for Scunthorpe United and scored 11 goals. After impressing during his time at Glanford Park, Dawson signed for Hull in 2003 and has made 243 appearances to date scoring 10 goals.
