Starting out at Blackburn Rovers Leam showed great promised but only one first team saw him move to Bolton Wanderers where he was a member of The 1998 FA Youth Cup Final.
During his time there he had loan spells at first, Notts County, then Blackpool, before moving to Bloomfield Road on a permanent basis in July 2003. Amongst his many appearances for Blackpool was one at The Millenium Stadium in The LDV Trophy Final.
He joined Stanley in the summer of 2005 and soon made the left back position his own with his displays earning him a new contract. Last season he at last scored a goal for Stanley, netting the winner against Brentford in his 112th appearance for the club.

Brother of fellow Accrington player Paul Mullin started his career Burnley, before moving to Sunderland and managing to score the winning goal in a Premier League game against Manchester United in 1997.
He also had a second spell at Burnley along with Rotherham United in the Championship. Mullin was released by Rotherham at the end of the 2005/06 season and re-united with former Millers boss Ronnie Moore at Tranmere Rovers.
After being released by Tranmere at the end of the 2007-08 season, Mullin was signed by Accrington Stanley on a one-year contract.

Coming up through the ranks at Premier League Everton, Symes plied his trade alongside Wayne Rooney as he scored an excellent 31 goals in 51 games in the side that reached the FA Youth Cup Final.
Following his departure from Goodison Park he signed for Bradford from where he was loaned out to Stockport and Shrewsbury to whom he then joined on a permanent move scoring 13 goals in his first season with the Shrews.
He then joined Macclesfield on loan and also had a spell on loan at Bournemouth before joining Stanley on loan where he made seven appearances and scored in the 1-0 victory at Grimsby securing Stanley`s position in League Two for another season. After being released in Summer 2009, Michael signed a one year deal at Stanley.
