Aldershot Town boss Gary Waddock has expressed his delight at capturing Queens Park Rangers striker Antonio German on loan.
17-year-old German has had a handful of first team appearances from the bench, and today penned a one month loan deal with the League two side.
The former QPR boss and midfielder, Waddock, spoke to theshots.co.uk after swooping to sign the young striker on loan.
‘I am pleased that Antonio has joined for a month,” he said.
“He has first team experience and this is a great opportunity where we can help to further his development whilst he can help us too.
“We need more numbers at the club and I believe this is a positive signing.”
The young striker will go straight into the squad for Tuesday’s game against Hereford United in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round.

Waddock Delight At German Capture

And so he should German is a brilliant younster with an eye for a goal
I hope he and the Shots benefit from the spell, and that Waddock can get the Shots firing. Do like Aldershot as a club and having GW there only re-affirms that.
