Southernhoop takes you through your nice little earners this week – focusing north of the border.

Following on from last week’s success in Scotland (anybody who copied the bet will have made a small profit), and the fact it’s international week, I’ve decided to concentrate north of the border again.

When there’s a full set of fixtures I’ll be looking at different combination bets, fivefolds and sixfolds etc, but for now I suggest sticking with last week’s winning formula. For anyone interested that was a £1 accumulator and 4 £1 trebles (total stake £5) which paid around £9, as one of the sides let me down.

However by betting this way it means you can still make money even when all four don’t win. So today’s tips are:

* Dundee in the top of the table clash versus Queen of the South in Division 1. Dundee have played 7 at home this season, winning 6 and drawing the other. A good value at around 10/11.

* Raith Rovers away at Morton in Division 2. As mentioned last week Morton have only scored 1 goal at home this season, a tally which they failed to add to last Saturday. Raith are around 11/10.

* Berwick Rangers at home to Queens Park in Division 3. Berwick have won 6 and lost one at home scoring 9 and conceding 2. Should be too good for 8th place Queens Park at around 5/6.

* Stranraer away at bottom club Montrose is a bit of a gamble as Stranraer are 7th themselves. However, Montrose are well adrift at the bottom without a win and odds are around 7/5.

Should all 4 win then the winnings will be just over £50, and again if only 3 win there should be a small profit.

Those of you with an interest in the televised international games might be interested to know that England are a decent 5/2 to beat Brazil, although which players will be available by kick-off remains to be seen. Personally I try to steer clear of friendlies, I’ve had a little punt on the Republic of Ireland and France finishing in a draw, odds of 11/5.

Good luck all, any feedback would be nice, even if it’s just to take the mick out of my tips!
