QPR’s poor recent run of form continued on Saturday afternoon, as they were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Sheffield Wednesday at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
Going into the game, Wednesday had won just three of their last 19 league outings, but made light work of QPR on Saturday, with goals from Dominic Iorfa, Josh Windass and Jacob Murphy securing all three points for Garry Monk’s side.
That result means it is now one win and five defeats from six games for QPR since the season restarted, with few players impressing for Rangers throughout the course of the match, something not helped by the fact they were facing a side as out of form as Wednesday.
Should questions be asked of Mark Warburton after defeat to Sheffield Wednesday?YesNo |
Perhaps not surprisingly therefore, plenty of QPR fans were far from impressed with the showing from their side, as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on that performance from Mark Warburton’s team.
Here, we take a look at what some of those Rangers supporters had to say.
I've been a QPR fan a long time, so it's not as if I have high expectations or support the team for anything resembling glory, but the application and effort post lockdown has been nothing short of disgraceful. I don't care what Warburton says, it's there for us all to see.

That picture says it all… Kakay the only player who has shown any ounce of passion or desire since the restart

We have been a disgrace since the break. Many players seem more interested in the beach or a transfer than playing football. It’s rotten. Lots of questions to be asked including of our leaders because there is zero motivation.

An absolute shambles, terrible as a supporter to watch our club end the season so meekly yet again & the players showing no pride or passion to play in the shirt. Disgraceful.

Time to ask some serious questions of the manager

There’s literally no positive to come out of today.

Shambles. Defence has been all season. 70 goals conceeded someone must take the blame for it.
