Andrew Madley from West Yorkshire will take charge of this evening’s clash between Queens Park Rangers and Bristol City.

Competition: Football League Championship
Date: Tuesday 18th October, 2016
Teams: Queens Park Rangers v Bristol City

Assistant: Mark Russell (Somerset)
Assistant: Andrew Fox (Warwickshire)
Fourth Official: Kevin Johnson (Somerset)

Select List 2 official Andy Madley will take charge of his fifth QPR fixture to date – taking charge of QPR twice last season and for the second time this term. His brother Bobby Madley is also on the Premier League Select List.

The last time Mr Madley oversaw a Bristol City fixture it was a thumping 4-0 defeat at the hands of eventually-promoted Burnley last season.

In 35 games this season Mr Madley has dished out 11 yellow cards and is yet to give out a red. This gives him an average of 3.18 cards per game. Remarkably it’s been over a year since Mr Madley last gave a red card – Crawley Town’s Gwion Edwards the unfortunate party in September 2015.

Mark Russell (Somerset) ran the line in the opening day win over Leeds United (3-0) and the recent draw away at Burton Albion – where referee Madley was fourth official on both occasions. Andrew Fox (Warwickshire) runs the line for the first time in a QPR fixture this season.
