Andy Davies from Hampshire will take charge of the clash between Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City.

Mr Davies now resides on the Select Group 2 list having spent four years among the National Group – and he has refereed mostly Championship fixtures this term.

He has dished out 99 yellows in 27 games this season so far – an average of 3.66 cards per game – he has also issued four red cards this campaign.

Against Birmingham City he will be assisted by Daniel Leach (Oxfordshire) and Dan Cook (Hampshire)
with Oliver Langford (West Midlands) on fourth official duties.

Davies has always taken charge of Rangers once this season – the spectacularly disastrous defeat at home to Newcastle United (0-6), while assistant Mr Leach has run the line on two occasions involving QPR already this season – the league cup win over Swindon Town and the aforementioned Newcastle drubbing.
