Mark Hughes is an admired ex-pro, whose playing career spanned over 20 years with over 600 league appearances and 163 league goals to his name, turning out for some of Europe`s greatest teams including Manchester United, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Chelsea. The former Welsh international moved into management following his retirement and having managed Blackburn, Manchester City and Fulham, the 48-year-old now sits at the helm of Queens Park Rangers. ‘IT HAS unfortunately all turned rather ugly – and that`s even without Park Ji Sung in the matchday squad. Despite this, reports of me having lost the dressing room are untrue – with my one year anniversary rapidly approaching it would be imprudent of me to forget that you can find it through the tunnel, second door on the right.

I did have to endure an unprecedented protest from numerous fans, however, and with my meticulous planning for the following week starting from 5.30pm each Saturday, I had to send Shaun Wright-Phillips out to contest with the enraged supporters. I forgot the moron`s conversational abilities were about as proficient as his crossing, as he irresponsibly stated he didn`t care about the clubs demise. Luckily he won`t be around for much longer as his contract runs out in only two years time.

Tony has called for crisis talks and we are due a lunch meeting tomorrow afternoon – needless to say Bobby Zamora won`t be eating anywhere near us. I still feel I have Tony`s full support as he has recently backed me in my bid to capture Nicolas Anelka – another player who fits perfectly into our transfer policy. If he does decide to depose me of my position he will surely wait till after the Man Utd game, as it would be unfair for any new manager to suffer a 7-0 defeat on their debut. In fairness, it is about time the club went through with their biannual managerial appointment.

Samba Diakite, earlier this week, informed us all he may surrender his place in Mali`s African Cup of Nations squad as he feels he owes the club. It`s a shame a few of our other squad members don`t feel they owe the club anything and we can`t ship them off to South Africa for a month in January. Djibril Cisse followed up Diakite`s nice gesture with a good deed of his own, by inviting one of our fans for a nice ‘chat`. I always find it refreshing to see players interacting with their supporters in such an encouraging way.`
