Sandro Departure Confirmed

Queens Park Rangers have confirmed the departure of midfielder Sandro to Turkish side Antalyaspor

Earlier in the day Queens Park Rangers stated that the Turkish side had jumped the gun on their announcement – but have now confirmed the deal.

Incredibly he has been handed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Super Lig side – despite only making 28 appearances in two-and-a-half years at Loftus Road, 11 of those being 90 minute displays.

A free transfer for the midfielder was probably the best Rangers could have hoped for given the fact that his ample wages have now left the building.

It will be a much-needed boost for Ian Holloway as he bids to reshape his squad.
