Martin Rowlands will be out for the rest of the season after injuring his trouble-some knee in training on Friday.

Prav Mathema, Rangers’ physio speaking to the official website said: ‘It is still early days with regard to diagnosis but it looks like he will be out for six weeks, which effectively ends his season.’

‘It looks as if Martin has suffered a tear to his medial ligament on his right knee. This is the same injury that he had earlier in the season, but with three months full training and eight first teams starts I am 100% confident that this is a totally new injury.’

Rowly will be assessed later this week when VITAL QPR will bring you the latest news on his injury.
