Chris Ramsey says it’s back to the drawing board after a third successive defeat

Harry Kane’s double ensured that Tottenham Hotspur walked out the victors at Loftus Road this afternoon (Saturday) – despite a consolation strike from Sandro.

Ramsey spoke of his disappointment to qpr.co.uk: ‘It was like Wednesday’s game [against Arsenal] to a point – the big moments.

‘We had chances and we really need to be capitalising on those situations if we’re going to get out of trouble. We’re not in the bottom three because we’re capitalising on chances.

‘We also weren’t happy with the goals we conceded. We’ll be back in on Monday to analyse the situation.’

Ramsey continued: ‘In the last two games, we’ve played very-good teams. But we’ve been in both games.

‘Had we scored first, or capitalised on our chances, we’d have picked up at least two points. It’s the small details again.’

Rangers will now travel to Crystal Palace next week hoping to add to their solitary away win at Sunderland.

Alan Pardew’s men are now virtually safe after propelling themselves up the table with a string of fine wins.
