CHRIS Ramsey has been confirmed today as Queens Park Rangers Head Coach

The 53-year-old had been in temporary charge of Rangers, and today makes his stay permanent – signing a three year deal in W12.

Left to clear up the mess made by Harry Redknapp, Ramsey fought valiantly while trying to inject youth into an ageing line-up.

Despite not being able to keep Rangers in the top flight, Ramsey is looking forward to rebuilding the club starting with the next three years.

He told QPR.co.uk: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for me and one I am tremendously excited about.

‘I enjoyed my time in temporary charge, despite the way the season panned out, and now I`m looking forward to the challenge of helping rebuild this club over the coming years.

‘I am fully aware of what this club means to its supporters and I intend to do everything possible to help build a QPR team they can be proud of.’

His final Premier League fixture in charge of QPR will be the trip to Leicester City this weekend.
