QPR To Raid Brighton Again For Reinforcements – Reports

|

Even though Queens Park Rangers’ options in the January transfer window are limited owing to our Financial Fair Play faux par in recent years, we are being linked with another potential deal with Brighton and Hove Albion.

Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb have a semi spurious report centering on the lack of game time for Brighton player Ezequiel Schelotto.

It’s claimed that he’s already spoken about seeking a January fix over the fact that despite joining them from Sporting CP back in the summer of 2017, he’s only racked up 23 appearances since then, and he’s only managed 15 starts in the Premier League. He is yet to make an appearance this season though in any competition.

I’m certainly no expert on the player, but the report claims he met with club officials this week and it’s been agreed that he can head out on loan for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign, and given we already have Tomer Hemed on our books, we make a sensible go to for reports about the Italian international.

Given we are pretty well stocked in defence, I’m not putting much stock in this one to be honest but he can apparently play further forward on the right hand side, so we may be looking at him as an attacking option?
