Former QPR loanee Andrew Davies is reported to be the subject of interest from the R`s and another Championship club as silly season continues in full-flow.
Since Jim Magilton took the helm at Loftus Road the majority of the talk has been surrounding player departures with Lee Camp, Dexter Blackstock and Damien Delaney all seemingly destined for the exit door.
However this latest rumour concerns the former QPR loanee Andrew Davies with the R`s and Coventry City chasing the defender after he fell out of favour at Stoke City following a £1.3m move from Southampton in 2008.
Davies played nine times for QPR being sent off in a farcical game against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane back in 2005.
Since then he left parent club Middlesbrough on loan to Derby County before a permanent switch to the south coast and Southampton. After 23 appearances for the Saints he was snapped up by Tony Pulis at the beginning of the 2008-09 Premier League campaign.
After falling out of favour at the Britannia the 24-year-old made a brief loan switch to Preston North End at the back end of last season helping them to attain at playoff place in the Championship.
