BARELY hours since Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink vacated the managerial hot-seat at Loftus Road and already two favourites have emerged from the pack.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa manager and all-round Les Ferdinand chum, Tim Sherwood was linked with the club last week by The Sun – he remains the bookmaker’s favourite across the board.

Once linked with the Rangers hot-seat, Sherwood instead went to Villa Park leaving the path clear for Chris Ramsey to oversee Rangers’ relegation.

Odds: SkyBet and BetVictor are offering 8/11, while Paddy Power offer 8/15.

Next favourite is another man rumoured to have been interviewed previously – Karl Robinson. The man who recently left MK Dons by ‘mutual consent’ was overlook for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink last time out but the ‘free agent’ tag may make things more attractive this time around.

Odds: SkyBet and BetVictor are offering 11/8, while Paddy Power offer 6/4.

Former QPR coach Steve Cotterill is also being offered by Bet Victor at 6/1, while former Leicester City man Nigel Pearson is 12/1 across the board.
