QPR Man Saves Further Blushes With MotM Performance & Contribution

|

Saturday’s trip to the KCOM Stadium to face Hull City looked like it was going to be another of those days for Queens Park Rangers and manager Steve McClaren.

Finding ourselves 2-0 down at the halftime break, whatever was said worked, as the side showed improvement in the second period and Josh Scowen scored just after the hour mark to give us hope and he then went on to provide the assist for Tomer Hemed who levelled the scores up six minutes from time.

Holding on for a 2-2 draw we took a much needed point and although frustrations in the fanbase won’t ease with a draw, it at least temporarily stops them from getting worse.

Statistics website Whoscored weren’t very positive in their player ratings as you’d expect, but the two men involved in securing a point scored well.

With a goal and an assist Josh Scowen obviously took their Man of the Match rating with a score of 8.13 for his efforts, and Tomer Hemed picked up 7.09 for his performance.

Completing the top five on the day were Pawel Wszolek (6.97), Ebere Eze (6.95) and Toni Leistner (6.92).

Just have to hope we build on this and go on an unbeaten run to build confidence now.
